The end of an era

They said it couldn't be done. But the rumors are true ... I have a job! But not to worry. It's only a four-week contract, and I'll still have time to ramble on about the silly details of our lives in the evenings and on weekends.

Many of you (or at least Cousin Jimmy) have voiced your concern for how we'll maintain the exceptional level of quality that this blog has come to achieve. Others of you (Corey) have asked how my liver will adapt to total daytime sobriety. Even I am wondering what it's like to change out of my pajamas before noon every day. Not to worry dear readers ... we'll all be on this groundbreaking trip together. Work begins Monday, March 30. More details coming soon.

A four week contract? So they gave you at least 1 week vacation pay right? :)

I'll be thinking of you on your firt day of work. BTW, how will you get there, drive Jake to work first? I think it's great you'll be staying in your field and getting some international work experience. Love you--

Good luck on your first day! I miss our talks but you will be proud at how well I did on Class Notes. It looks like you are having a blast! Happy One Year!

I tried working once but I didn't like it.

Carl - I'm glad that you pointed out the obvious because that is what I have been saying all along. The upside is Jamie won't be locked in for a long time, thus she doesn't have to worry about much of anything!
